GAP: AN APP TO DELIVER FOOD MATERIALS DIRECTLY TO THE RESTAURANTS

I addressed a problem that most of my friends who had experience in working at restaurant would have: to go out and buy the food materials, but after two or three visits at several supermarkets or traditional markets, we still cannot find the vegetable we need. So I designed an APP for the workers to cooperate with local retailers or mid-suppliers, and they can send the food ingredients directly to the restaurant.

ARTIFACT NAME:VEGESTANT

I name it this way by combining “VEGETABLE” & “INSTANT.” Because this APP is aimed at providing vegetable instantly for sectors, for example, restaurant chargers.

And it’s not difficult to pronounce. But what troubles me is that it’s a bit too long.

REVISE & RECOMMENDATION BY MY FRIENDS:

  1. The interface could be more concise, that is, only one choice to make in each page.
  2. The personal profile can add more function there, for example, help manage how many quantity I have bought regarding each vegetable, and count automatically the period of how often I buy each vegetable, so that I myself would know when to get new supplies for stock.
  3. The page “cooperators” can add more information about the vegetable retailers/mid-suppliers. For example, their address, the holder’s name…etc, instead of only informing their names and their products.
  4. The little index at bottom was originally served as guiding the users to know where they are in this APP, but it doesn’t seem to function well.

NEXT STEP:

I would add new functions to the personal profile page, adding the “accumulating function” under each vegetable. And also, add the retailer’s info on it.
